Submit news to AI Balkans Got a story? Tell the desk. We welcome tips, pitches, and research findings from across the Balkans. The strongest pitches have a clear regional AI angle and sources we can verify: official pages, papers, or named contacts. An original angle or exclusive insight helps, and so does an honest note if the story has run elsewhere. We read every submission and aim to reply within 5 working days. Breaking tips may be faster. Submission does not guarantee publication; we may edit for clarity and length. What we publish News and analysis on AI across the Balkans: startups, policy and regulation, education, research, industry adoption, and infrastructure. We also cover global developments with clear relevance for the region, and practical guides with a real regional hook. What we usually pass on Press releases with no news value, topics with no link to AI or the Balkans, unverified claims or anonymous attacks, and identical pitches sent to many outlets. For advertising, see Advertise. Do you pay for submissions? AI Balkans is a non-profit editorial project. We do not typically pay for unsolicited tips; commissioned work is agreed separately. Can I submit in Albanian, Macedonian, or other languages? Our site is in English. You may submit in another language; if we pursue the story, we may publish in English with your cooperation. Do you accept anonymous tips? We prefer named contacts we can verify. Anonymous submissions are rarely used unless the story can be confirmed independently.
