Women in Tech Macedonia

Nonprofits - Skopje, North Macedonia - https://womenintech.mk/

Women in Tech Macedonia is the local chapter of the global Women in Tech movement, working to increase the participation, visibility and opportunities of women and girls in technology.

Based in Skopje, the community focuses on education, entrepreneurship, social inclusion and events, with activities designed to help women develop digital and technology skills, build professional networks and access opportunities within the technology ecosystem. Its work includes training programmes, mentorship, conferences, community initiatives and partnerships with technology companies, educational institutions, public bodies and civil society organisations. In 2026, Women in Tech Macedonia expanded its activities through initiatives including AI literacy programmes for women and the first Women in Tech Macedonia Awards, recognising women, organisations and leaders contributing to technology and innovation in North Macedonia. Women in Tech Macedonia is part of the wider Women in Tech Global Movement, an international network focused on reducing the gender gap in technology and supporting women and girls pursuing careers in STEAM fields.
