AINOW v0.94 Expands From Education Into Business With 3,270-Prompt AI Library

North Macedonia-based AINOW Society has released version 0.94 of its AI literacy platform, adding a new professional AI library alongside its existing education product and expanding its resources for universities. The release reorganises edu.ainow.mk around two applications: AINOW Education for schools and higher education, and the new AINOW Business platform for professionals and organisations. Both remain free to use, require no user account and have been designed to operate without a permanent internet connection. The move broadens a project that was originally focused primarily on helping teachers understand and use artificial intelligence. With v0.94, AINOW is extending the same model to professional work while keeping the software open source and available in Macedonian, Albanian and English. Higher education gets a larger role AINOW Education now operates under /edu/ and retains the learning material and tools developed for teachers and school administrators. The platform includes a 19-chapter AI literacy guide covering subjects from basic AI concepts and prompting to retrieval, performance, responsible use and safety. Its education library now contains 1,106 prompts built around work carried out in schools and universities, including lesson preparation, communication with parents, individual education plans, administrative documentation and institutional evaluation. Version 0.94 makes Higher Education a dedicated category alongside Teachers and Administration. The new section provides material for lecturers, researchers, doctoral supervision, student services, quality assurance and university leadership, with 60 prompts per supported language across the six areas. The education platform also includes a 60-term AI glossary and a directory of 57 AI tools. The expansion reflects a wider problem across the region: much of the practical material available for using generative AI in education is still developed primarily in English and for larger education systems. AINOW's decision to maintain the platform in Macedonian and Albanian gives local institutions material that can be used without translating an English-language resource first. Business platform launches with more than 3,000 prompts The biggest addition to v0.94 is AINOW Business, a separate application built around professional AI use. It launches with 3,270 prompts across 33 fields, including software development, law, medicine, finance, agriculture, journalism, public health, logistics and management. The platform also contains 2,190 predefined AI agent configurations. These provide structured roles, objectives and instructions that can be copied into compatible AI systems rather than requiring users to construct an agent configuration themselves. AINOW has added several ways of navigating that material. A Situations section currently provides eight guided scenarios for tasks such as negotiations and incident response. Users describe the circumstances they are dealing with and the platform helps construct a relevant prompt. AINOW Situations Playbooks provide more structured, step-by-step workflows, while an Agent Builder generates customised instructions based on information supplied by the user. The Business application itself is free. Consulting, training and organisational AI adoption services are offered separately through AINOW Society's technology partner, CTRLAB. Designed to work without constant internet access One of the more distinctive aspects of the project is its approach to distribution. Both applications are designed to run locally without a conventional server installation. A copy of the platform can be stored on a computer or USB drive and opened locally through its index.html file. That makes the architecture relevant beyond software design. Schools and organisations across the Balkans do not operate with identical infrastructure. Older computers, restricted installation permissions and inconsistent connectivity remain practical barriers in some institutions, particularly outside major urban centres. The Business application originally used a more conventional React and bundler-based architecture. For the v0.94 release, its modules and dependencies were adapted so the final application could operate from local files. React remains part of the application, but dependencies needed by the software are stored locally instead of being retrieved from third-party services when the application runs. The platform's fonts are now hosted locally as well. Privacy without user accounts The same architecture supports AINOW's privacy model. Neither Education nor Business requires registration. Language preferences, favourites and scratchpad information remain in the user's browser rather than being stored in a central AINOW account. According to the organisation, the applications do not use analytics, tracking pixels or external telemetry to monitor how people use the platform. That design is particularly relevant for the education product, where teachers may be working with information connected to students, but AINOW has applied the same model to its professional platform. It is a different approach from the increasingly common model of AI software built around mandatory cloud accounts and persistent user profiles. v0.94 also fixes inaccurate numbers and translations The release was not limited to new features. AINOW says it also conducted an audit of its platform statistics and multilingual interface after finding inconsistencies that had accumulated during development. The Business interface had previously advertised 3,370 prompts across 34 areas. An audit of the underlying content found the correct figures to be 3,270 prompts across 33 areas, which are now used throughout the platform. The team also found obsolete translation entries left behind after features had been removed, as well as around 40 interface placeholders that still appeared in English for Macedonian and Albanian users.
