AINOW Society used ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and GitHub Copilot to research, write, localize and develop edu.ainow.mk, a multilingual AI literacy platform in Macedonian, Albanian and English. The project shows how a small nonprofit can use AI to increase its capacity while keeping people responsible for accuracy, language quality, design and technical decisions.
The Challenge AINOW Society wanted to create a practical AI literacy platform that people could use in Macedonian, Albanian and English. The challenge was not only producing educational content, but also designing the experience, building the platform, managing three language versions and keeping everything clear for non-technical users. For a small nonprofit team, that would normally require separate researchers, writers, translators, designers and developers. The project also had to remain easy to update because AI tools and terminology change quickly. The AI Solution Instead of using one tool for everything, AINOW Society created a workflow around ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and GitHub Copilot. ChatGPT supported research, content planning, early drafts and the simplification of technical ideas. Claude was used to review longer sections, improve structure and identify repetition or missing explanations. Cursor supported development inside the codebase, while GitHub Copilot helped with code completion, repetitive tasks, debugging and smaller improvements. AI also assisted with the first stages of translation and localization, but the final language, terminology and educational meaning were reviewed by people. How It Was Implemented The platform was developed as a real GitHub-hosted project rather than as a temporary experiment. The work was divided into smaller stages: defining the learning structure, preparing the content, organizing the three language versions, building the interface and testing the platform across different screens and user journeys. AI-generated suggestions were never treated as finished work. Content was edited, translations were checked and code was reviewed before being accepted. When one tool produced a weak result, the team compared it with another approach or rebuilt the section manually. This allowed AI to speed up the work without taking control of the project. What Changed AI gave AINOW Society the capacity to deliver a multilingual public platform with a much smaller team than would normally be required. Research, writing, localization and development could happen in parallel rather than as separate, slow stages. Repetitive work was reduced, ideas could be tested more quickly and updates became easier to manage through the GitHub project. The result was edu.ainow.mk, a practical AI literacy platform that can support independent learning, workshops, teacher sessions and wider public education. The biggest change was not simply faster development. It was the ability of a small civil society organization to turn limited resources into a working, multilingual educational product while keeping human judgment, local knowledge and responsibility at the centre of the process.
