The AINOW Society is the first Artificial Intelligence Association in North Macedonia, structured as a non-profit NGO dedicated to fostering ethical AI integration, professional networking, and digital literacy.

A major part of the society's current work is focused on their custom-built open-source platform, which provides AI literacy tools for school teachers and administrators. Because student privacy is a top concern, this application is engineered to run entirely locally in the user's browser with no logins, data tracking, or subscriptions. The platform is also designed as a Progressive Web App that can be easily downloaded onto local school servers or run directly from USB drives in classrooms without internet access. Through this portal, educators can immediately access over 850 localized educational prompts and 50 standalone digital tools to help with lesson planning. Outside of classroom literacy, the group frequently coordinates tech symposiums, collaborative hackathons, and public networking events alongside digital inclusion coalitions to shape responsible technology policy across the Western Balkans.
